Churchill Downs is a beautiful old race track just steaming with history. We were surprised that it was in downtown Louisville. The museum was very interesting and we learned a lot. You have to have money to afford the race! The cheapest ticket is $350 and must be purchased 9-12 mos ahead. A $40 general admission ticket will get you in the gate but you can't go near the track. Would love to see the race though.
