Well, as I got ready to do a new post I realized I never finished the last one....soooo....I am going to catch ya'll up on our trip east.
Went to White Sands in New Mexico for the first time. After spending so much time in the Dunes of So Cal they were not that impressive! The sand is very white and course, very unlike So Cal.
We had to go see where Smokey is laid to rest.
Had a fun time in Roswell, NM. You just gotta do that once in your life!
Dan loved hanging with his friends.
Buddy Holly Museum in Lubbock TX
JJJ Brewery, Lubbock
The Glider museum was a wonderful surprise. We never knew they even used these gliders in WWII
Went to the original Dr Pepper bottling plant & museum in Dublin TX. So much fun old advertising
Visited new friends, Paul and Peggy in Clyde Tx. They took us sight seeing and of course Dan & Paul played!
View from our front window which is their backyard!! Beautiful place. We had such a great time!
They took us to Granbury Tx which was on our bucket list.
And to this great cheese place that has the best raw milk cheese!! We took a lot home. Thanks to Paul & Peggy.
