On to our next"gig" at Lake Sommerville, TX. We didn't do too well but had a lot of great music and fun plus a great view of the Lake.
Dan and his "girls"
Our free campsite
Sunset over the Sausage Festival
Where else can you watch lawn mower and "sausage dog" races?
Continuing to move west we made a quick stop at the SAS (San Antonio Shoe) factory in San Antonio. Great Place! Besides shoes, there was old cars and advertising everywhere.....quite a museum!
A girls best friend!!
Dan was desperate!!
A short ride from the campground to see Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the world.
Then.....we got the dreaded message....our grandson, Sean, had been in a horrific accident at work at Sea World in San Diego. As many of you already know, we made a quick trip back there. He is improving everyday and his Dr. is amazed at his progress. We are blessed he is alive and doing well. We will be here in San Diego for a while so may not have a lot to blog about for a bit.
