Christmastime in LA

We had a great time getting ready for Christmas this year at Betty's RV Park here in Abbeville, LA.  The weather has been a little colder than we would like but it seems to be that way all over the country.  We have beautiful days and then cold ones.
Practicing to go Christmas caroling at several nursing homes in the area
And here we are.....we believe we brought some extra joy to the residents.
Dodo and Dan supplied instrumental background music for the group to sing to the residents. A big thanks to Dodo who put it all together.....and kept US all together!
These 3 girls (Peggy, Christy & Bobbie) sang Hallelujah (Christmas version) with the rest of us backing them up.  Here is the link to the recording if you haven't already heard it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3mA4G8pxno&list=FLyhH9P1BR2MGlJGulh-Phwg&feature=mh_lolz
Jim sang Sweet Little Jesus Boy
AND Wayne sang Blue Christmas
The next day it was off to Touchet's for a Cajun music filled afternoon of fun
The 3 Amigos sing Cajun.....sort of!
Wayne was quite the dancer......he danced with everyone.....even the owner!
The whole gang in their normal corner
And of course a night of Dirty Santa and lots of fun

Bernie and I trying to pirouette....not too well
In line for a wonderful Christmas dinner
Bernie makes us special reindeer "treats"
We met up with Dan's step Brother John who lives close to here before he headed to CA to visit
We were good this year!
We hope ya'll had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.
We wish you a very Happy and blessed New Year
