More Texas

We aren't moving too fast (that's all good!!!)  We took a detour to Livingston, TX where we met with a friend I used to work with and they have just started their journey as "full-timers".  It was great to visit with them and hope to meet up more along the way.

Then decided we weren't far from John & Sharon so scooted over to College Station where they showed us a wonderful time where they had lived and worked before "hitting the road"  They took us for the greatest Mexican food.....and that is saying a lot coming from San Diego area!
AND.....beautiful wildflowers
Downtown Bryan was a great little town that they are refurbishing and of course we had to play a bit!

It's a train thing there
It's ALWAYS 5 o'clock in Bryan!!!!
Then they took us to the Texas A&M campus where John went to school and worked and they even lived on campus for a time.  It is a beautiful campus!

The Military walk is beautiful and steeped in history and tradition

Dan looking at Reveille's (Aggie's mascot) of the past where they have been laid to rest so they can watch the scoreboard at the football stadium.....which is being expanded to hold 102,000, I believe.
The "Rec Center" (where John worked) is absolutely incredible!
The pool is world class....and there is an outdoor one and a practice one!

John by his brick.....he will be there forever!!!
